If you want to see a bunch of happy dogs, don’t miss The 10 Cutest Sleeping Dogs of the Week

When a group of dog rescuers arrived at the market to show the dogs available for adoption, somebody had left 12 puppies on the street – 8 of them were approximately 5 weeks old.

In shock, the rescuers didn’t know what to do. The group had recently canceled several adoption days at the market because of bad weather, so they were over their capacity with puppies still needing to be adopted out. Also, the abandoned puppies were so small that they needed to be fed every two hours, including at night.

That’s when a spayed stray dog approached, lay down beside the shoe box where the puppies were sleeping, and began caring for them.

She wouldn’t let anyone get near the babies.

Very carefully, the rescuers placed the puppies closer to her.

She began caressing them and offering the warmth of her belly to the newborns.

The maternal instinct kicked in and…

after a few hours, she had milk and was feeding the puppies.

The rescue group named her Vida, which means “life” in Portuguese.

That was not happening in paradise before sin was brought in. Even a fool looks smart if he’d just keep his mouth shut! God will be back, then you can ask Him.

dont forget there is a difference between being an intellectual creature and an emotional creature. dogs tend to have the average intelligence of a two year old human as an adult dog.. this wonderful dog saw the babies and i think it really was a nurturing mothering instinct she had just like a lot of human woman might have.

  • neh

That’s cute. Has it occurred to you that those are her pups? LOL

  • Phlox

Which God? There are so many to choose from, I never know which one is meant when those comments are made.

  • thatgirl

I’m skeptical that a spayed dog can produce milk. Mammals generally produce milk because they themselves were pregnant and produced the right cocktail of hormones to feed their children. A dog that was not pregnant, let alone spayed, should not have been able to produce milk.

  • sandra

how about making her see reason without the need of being insulting just like the comments underneath/???

  • sandra

YOU TOO! can’t you freaking use your extensive use of vocabulary to counterattack and make A POINT instead of bashing?

May I just simply say that the entire genesis story is BS. It is just a story that the Jews made up to try and explain things. I am Christian, but I am a Christian that reads the bible in context. Using stories made up by an older society is not a good way to go around and promoting your faith.

  • Dominic Volk

Christians who force their faith/religion (they are different) on others do not represent the majority. God teaches us (our faith means ‘us’ is everyone, but without the faith context, atheists can just take ‘us’ to mean Christians) to be accepting of other peoples views. Yes, we as Christians try to bring people to what we believe as being forgiveness from sin, but any Christian that tries to force their own faith on other people are usually the ones who had it ingrained in them from birth rather than coming to the conclusion themselves. There are Christians out there that can make their case as to why they believe in God without making it an argument. If you disagree with us on points that are based around God’s existence, then after making our case for our belief, we should put it down to faith, and not argue a case with logic that is only logical if you already believe. Please do not stereotype all of us Christians based on the very vocal portion of Christians you have come across.

  • Dominic Volk

Christians can have very un-orthodox views about things, so not all Christians have the same idea of God in relation to other religions/faiths. For example, I am Christian, yet I believe that the idea or essence of who God is is very, very similar from one religion/faith to another. Different cultures and societal based thoughts will result in different version, but I believe many concepts of who God is is accurate. The whole creation story is taught out-of-context to Christians and Atheists alike. Most of Genesis is not an account of actual events, but rather a society’s attempt to answer something. It’s the same thing that happened in 16-17th century England. Disease was seen as punishment from God, weather anomalies were blamed on outcasts in the community by accusing them of being witches. Yes, we Christians believe in sin, whether or not we agree with original sin, but we also believe in trying to live our lives ‘correctly’. To help others is part of living our lives in accordance with what we believe God as asked of us. In the end, the reason people do or do not believe in God is simple. Reality is purely the easiest explanation for things that are happening and for some, it is God, and others, well it could just be that the world is crap.

  • Dominic Volk

Proof is heavily dictated by point of view. What is perceived to be true or false is based on how someone thinks. Also, I am Christian, and I hate religion. It is not important what religion you belong to, but rather what someones faith is. As there is not any ‘proof’ around the existence of God that can’t be explained one way or the other, it all comes down to whether you have faith in God, or whether you have faith that he does not exist.

  • Dominic Volk

Honestly, what you are saying is also applicable to yourself. If you can’t make a case for Christianity without resorting to scare tactics, then you really need to rethink why you believe in God. Only speak if you have reason. Talk without reason is unfounded and foolish. all it means is that you have not truly thought about it.
