A resident of Florida, Craig Grant on ten acres of land with his own hands built this city for cats. There are small houses, town hall, and even a pond with a water mill but now Caboodle Ranch is home for over 500 happy cats.
Hello, just browsing for information for my Caboodle website. Can’t believe the amount of information out there. Wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, but good site. Have a good day.

And by the way, a photograph does not show FIV, FeLV, giardia, hookworms, roundworms, calicivirus, coronavirus, ringworm, ear mites, or any of the other illnesses and parasites that infected most of the cats at the Ranch due to Craig’s intentional neglect.
Of the thousands of cats taken in by the Ranch since it opened, their veterinarian could produce records for only 250 — and 20% of those cats were *dead*. That’s the sworn testimony from Craig’s own vet.
Tommy, Craig’s favorite cat who has been in Craig’s care since birth, had acquired FIV, upper respiratory infection, ringworm, and dental problems during his time at the Ranch. That’s the kind of treatment that Craig’s favorite received. Imagine what the other 650+ cats got.
Craig publicly admitted to scrubbing cats’ faces with toxic Clorox Wipes. That’s his idea of proper veterinary care.
Of the 653 cats seized from the Ranch, nearly 40% were suffering from untreated upper respiratory infections that could have been resolved with antibiotics.
Only 32 cats out of 653 were healthy. Every one of the remaining cats suffered from illness or disease. Two had to be euthanized on the spot — the cat found wailing in a cabinet, in agony, covered in its own excrement; and the cat with the crushed skull whose eye had been pushed back into its head. Neither had received any veterinary treatment. Thirteen more had to be euthanized over the following week because of their advanced neglect and suffering.
The property was filthy. Several dead cats were found indoors, decomposing. Dead cats in trash bags were partially buried around the property. Feces and urine were everywhere indoors, and the smell was overpowering.
All of this was demonstrated in the case against Caboodle Ranch. And that’s just the sworn testimony in the civil case… just wait until the criminal case for fraud and felony animal cruelty begins.
It astounds me that anyone who cares about animals could willingly overlook such obvious abuse and cruelty. But that’s what happens when people put a fantasy and their personal ideology ahead of the welfare of the cats.
Those of us who care about cats are not content to fawn over professional photo shoot pictures while overlooking the neglect and cruelty.
