No better vent in stressful times of war then to have some one to take care of, even if it is just a kitten.

“just” a kitten? What a profound task, taking care of another, whatever the species. And, after looking at these photos, I ask who is taking care of whom?

The life lesson here: Less guns, more pussy.

When my son was in Iraq the first time they had a rodent problem. The solution was to borrow a cat from the outfit next door. When that outfit left, my son’s group kept the cat. She was much loved and was bequeathed to the unit that took over. PS: no further rodent problems.

You have to agree that a kitty really takes care of the soldiers moral. They’re the best cute thing a soldier could have with him in the front lines :)

    Except the Nazi SS Officers…….

It just goes to show that they’re human too…and remember not all of them were involved with/agreed with the Holocaust.

“After the war at the Nuremberg Trials, the Waffen-SS was condemned as a criminal organization because of its essential connection to the Nazi Party and its involvement in war crimes. ” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waffen_ss)

I’m pretty sure if that Israeli soldier (4th from bottom) knew that you associated him with a Nazi (especially an SS), he would punch you in the face. Regardless, kittens are adorable.

A man in uniform is already swoon-worthy enough. But a man in uniform petting a kitten? Someone get me a fainting chair!

I like Jonathon’s life lesson better. Plus yours is riddled with grammatical errors.
